THE VTA JUNIOR SPRING PROGRAM

Juniors are back at Marshall Fields from April 13 to June 20.  The sessions will run twice a week as follows:

• Red Ball will be on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m..
  • Red Ball – 8 & under (born in 2018, 2019, 2020) ; 1/4 court is used
• Orange Ball will be held on Mondays and Thursdays from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Orange Ball – 10 and under (born in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019) ; 3/4 court is used
• Green dot will be held on Wednesdays and Fridays from 3:30 p.m.  to 4:30 p.m.
  • Green Dot – 12 and Under; full court (born in 2014, 2015, 2016) – some experienced 8 and 9 year olds could also join this group. Green dot balls are used in the U10 Rogers First Set – Rising Stars program
• Regular ball will be held on and  Wednesdays and Fridays from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • Regular ball – there will be two groups
    •  U14 (for those born in 2012 and earlier. Any players who have experience in green dot should consider regular ball. Practices will include singles and doubles play.
    • U18 (for those born in 2008 and earlier. Younger players who are experienced are encouraged to join this group. Practices will include singles and doubles play.

FEES

The registration fee will be $80. This includes a $10 junior membership to enable participation in junior VTA programs. The main component of the fee is the court rental charged by the City. Junior racquets will be available as needed. Balls and other equipment will be supplied.
